2007 has offered Green to Grow some amazing opportunities to contribute back by partnering with local and national organizations. In an effort to reflect our belief in the ecological principle of interconnectedness, we have donated hundreds of new baby bottles and nipples to the following organizations/events:

Baby2Baby distributes your donated new and gently used items through a network of community agencies that serve the City of Los Angeles. These organizations help families living in poverty who are trying to overcome issues of homelessness, domestic violence, and drug abuse.

Founded in 1988, the mission of Beyond Shelter is to develop systemic approaches to combat poverty and homelessness among families with children and enhance family economic security and well-being. Beyond Shelter accomplishes its goals through responsive service delivery, people-centered community development, and the creation of knowledge for social change.

florence crittenton home

Florence Crittenton is nationally recognized Montana non-profit specializing in therapeutic residential services for pregnant and parenting young women, ages 12 to 21.  Many of the girls they serve have experienced multiple personal challenges including substance abuse, depression, truancy, and runaway  tendencies.  Their treatment model is a relationship based cognitive/behavioral approach with a particular emphasis on attachment and bonding issues, enabling healing to occur and creating healthy relationships.

Para Los Niños is a nonprofit family service organization designed to bring children from some of Los Angeles’ most challenging communities out of poverty and onto brighter, more successful futures. Since opening its first facility in 1980, Para Los Niños has grown to serve more than 5,000 families each year at 21 sites. Every week, more than 3,000 children and youth – ranging from 6 weeks to 21 years of age – enjoy award-winning, positive educational opportunities and much-needed family support.

Pediatric Interim Care Center, The Newborn Nursery, (PICC) is a one-of-a-kind, model program that provides specialized, 24-hour care for drug-exposed and medically fragile newborns. PICC brings babies safely through withdrawal from drugs, including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, methadone, and prescription drugs. The pioneering program also facilitates visitation for families, provides caregiver training, follows the babies after they leave, and offers a range of community outreach and education services.
